Operates various types of equipment including hand and power tools, mowers, trimmers, tractors and other mechanical equipment. Performs routine cleaning of restrooms, buildings, facilities and grounds. Will also include assisting with other public works maintenance duties as needed. This is an entry level position. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with clean driving record. Must be able to work independently. Public Works Meter Reader/Maintenance
The City of Tishomingo is seeking a motivated individual to perform meter reading tasks for our public works division. Duties with also include repair, installation and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure. Aid and assist water and sewer plant operators as directed. Stand on-call as required by the public works director. Work is performed outdoors exposing employee to inclement weather and hazards related to working with and around a variety of equipment. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with clean driving record.
